Scholarships and Financial Aid

At the University of Indianapolis, 88% of our students receive financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, student loans and part-time work. Our average financial aid package for entering new students is $17,265.  Over half of our new students received academic scholarships that range from partial to full-tuition.

In addition to the academic and departmental scholarships listed on this page, we encourage you to visit our Financial Aid website to learn more about the financial aid application process and important dates and deadlines to qualify for state or federal assistance.

Grants and Scholarships

University of Indianapolis academic scholarships and grants listed are awarded to full-time students regardless of financial need. With the exception of the Legacy Award, the highest award will take precedence over lesser awards. Depending on the amount awarded, some departmental and special interest awards may be added to the merit scholarships.

Additional sources of financial assistance may be available to students who file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need.
