The University of Indianapolis proudly supports the educational aspirations of post 9-11 Military veterans returning from service. Through a new grant that supplements federal education benefits, post 9-11 veterans, their spouses, and dependent children are now eligible for full tuition for undergraduate, day division courses at UIndy.
Aimed at veterans seeking a private university environment, the University of Indianapolis Freedom Award and a matching award from the federal Yellow Ribbon Program will cover any remaining tuition cost, after other financial aid is calculated. Such students also are eligible for other Veterans Administration benefits, including living allowances and a $1,000 annual stipend for books and supplies.
