Each application for admission is evaluated individually and given careful consideration. Careful analysis is given to the number of college prep courses the applicant has completed in high school. Other factors considered for admission include high school grade point average and standardized test scores. Admission to the University of Indianapolis does not guarantee acceptance into a specific program of study.
The University of Indianapolis responds to applications on a rolling basis. Once the University has received the student’s application, official high school transcript, official SAT or ACT scores (sent to us from the testing agency), and the $20 application fee, the file will be reviewed for admission.
In addition to an assessment of academic performance, transcripts for home-schooled students should be organized and completed by academic year and contain descriptions of content covered in each course. An explanation of any applicable grading scale should also accompany the transcript.
After being home schooled, I wanted a university that would fully prepare me for a career, graduate school, and beyond. The University of Indianapolis embodied all of these things. The University offers educational, social, and religious opportunities that truly make it a home away from home.
Transitioning from a home school environment to a University was easy with the help of fellow students, knowledgeable staff, and caring professors.”
