Graduate or Undergraduate? Transfer Student?
Requirements for entry into the University of Indianapolis are different
for freshmen (first-year college students) and transfer students
(students transferring from another university), and graduate
students (students seeking a master's or doctoral degree).
This website is designed to provide you with the information
you need according to your academic level. Please read below
to determine your academic level.
You are a freshman undergraduate student if all of
the following are true:
- You have completed high school or secondary school.
- You have not attended
a university or college or other postsecondary institution.
- You
wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree or associate degree
at the University of Indianapolis.

- You have attended a university or other postsecondary institution,
but you have not received a bachelor's degree

You are a guest undergraduate student if all of the following
are true:
- You are currently enrolled in another college or university.
- You want
to take undergraduate coursework at the University
of Indianapolis but do not want to pursue a degree from
the University of Indianapolis.

- You have already received the equivalent
of a U.S. bachelor's degree from a university,
and you want to pursue a master's or doctoral degree
at the University
of Indianapolis.
