Registering for Classes

Once you've been admitted to the University of Indianapolis, a $100 tuition deposit and $50 housing deposit (if applicable) are required before transfer students can register for fall semester Day Division classes. Once the deposits are received, the transfer student’s application file is reviewed for math and English proficiency. If math or English placement testing is required, transfer students are assigned to one of the available summer registration dates in June or August, when they will take any necessary placement exams and meet with an academic advisor to schedule their fall classes. If a transfer student demonstrates math and English proficiency, a postcard will be sent beginning in May with the name and phone number of the key advisor. Once the student receives the card, he or she can call the appropriate key advisor to arrange an appointment to schedule classes. No tuition deposit is required for winter semester. Once you are admitted, you are welcome to contact your key advisor to register for classes.

Campus housing is available to admitted students planning to enroll full-time at the University of Indianapolis; five residence halls and a University apartment complex are available. Campus housing is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis to those submitting a $50 deposit. Off-campus housing is available in various rental properties within driving distance of campus.
