Special Visit Days

The University of Indianapolis offers several opportunities over the course of the year to allow you to visit the campus and experience the life of a UIndy student.  If you have an interest in one of the Special Visit Days listed below, please follow the instructions for registration.  Contact our office at 1-866-421-7173 or (317) 788-3216 to get more information about a particular program, register for one of the special visit days, or schedule an individual visit.

High School Day

Come to High School Day and discover the University of Indianapolis!  High school juniors and seniors are invited to visit the campus for a day filled with academic information, details about student clubs and organizations, tours of the campus, and lunch.  No reservation is necessary. Registration is from 9:00-9:30 a.m. in the Schwitzer Student Center.  The academic information session begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. in the UIndy Banquet Hall.  You can expect to be on campus until 1:30 p.m. We hope to see you at the 80th Annual High School Day!  For more info

Future Health Professions Day

Are you interested in a career as an Athletic Trainer, Occupational or Physical Therapist, Physician, Dentist, Optometrist or Veterinarian?  Are you interested in earning an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or Psychology?  If so, please join us on for UIndy's Health Professions Day.  If you are on our mailing list, you will receive an invitation by mail, or you may call 1-800-232-8634, ext. 3216 or 317-788-3216 to register. School of Business, School of Education, and School of Nursing Day

Art & Design Portfolio Days

Students interested in majoring in studio Fine Arts, Pre-Art Therapy, Art Education, or Graphic Design/Visual Communication Design, are encouraged to present a portfolio.  Presentation of a portfolio is necessary for scholarship consideration. Music Audition Days

Students interested in a bachelors degree in Music Education, Music Performance, Music with a concentration in Jazz Studies, Music Technology & Recording, Music Theatre, or Theory & Composition should contact the Music Department at 1-800-232-8634, ext. 3255, or 317-788-3255 to schedule an audition. Music assemble grants are also available to talented musicians who plan to major in something other than music. Non-music major scholarships are awarded to talented musicians. Campus Camp-In

Come and experience campus life for a weekend! Stay in a residence hall with a current student, enjoy late night activities, and help with a service project for the community. This activity is open to all admitted students.

Greyhound Visit Days

Each fall the University of Indianapolis welcomes students and parents to visit campus during ISTEP Week (Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress) for our Greyhound Visit Days. These days allow students and their families the opportunity to learn about the University of Indianapolis from current students and admissions personnel. The day will conclude with a tour of our suburban campus. Registration is now closed for Greyhound Visit Days.

BUILD Open House

BUILD Open House provides an opportunity for you to talk with the Director of BUILD, university admissions counselors, financial aid counselors, tutors and current BUILD students. Ask questions. See our facilities. Be our guests for lunch! The Baccalaureate for University of Indianapolis Learning Disabled (BUILD) program was established in 1990 as a full support program to help college students with learning disabilities earn baccalaureate degrees. While we encourage you to pre-register, we will accept walk-in registrations. Registration will be in the basement of Schwitzer Student Center, Room 010, on the University of Indianapolis campus. Presidential Scholarship Competition

(By invitation only)

The top Dean's Scholars who have been admitted by the priority scholarship deadline of January 15 will be invited to compete for one of our fifteen full-tuition Presidential Scholarships.  Students are selected based on their overall academic achievement, high school course curriculum and standardized test scores. Spring Get Acquainted Days

These days are specially designed to allow our students from outside of Indiana an opportunity to experience UIndy firsthand. During Get Acquainted Days student are able to take a campus tour, learn more about academics, financial aid and residence life and even stay overnight with a current UIndy student. The university can assist students with their travel-related expenses. If you think that the University of Indianapolis is in your future, we look forward to getting acquainted with you.
